Stories of silence
My paintings explore the interplay between nature and perception - the fleeting instant when an outer landscape or a cityscape transforms into an inner reflection. Through atmosphere, light and texture, I aim to capture not just what is seen, but the experience of seeing itself and the mood it leaves the seer in.
Most of my art focuses on solitude and stillness. They are meant to be vehicles of introspection for the viewer, much the same way those scenes made me dwell in that moment and go inward. The scenes exist as much in the viewer as they do on canvas.
